Working the psychological, traumatic cognitive and emotional aspects of an addict or alcoholic is a crucial in resolving the underlying issues behind the person’s obsessive & compulsive behavior. This is usually dealt with by a psychologist or therapist whom through hourly session over years try to determine the patients underlying issues usually with very poor results due to wrong diagnosis caused by the manipulation conscious and unconsciously given by the patient and the extended periods of time which dilutes the efficiency of treatment.
At Tikva Recovery center we utilize a series of work books and questionnaires adding up to 180 hours work time which educate & inform on all aspects of the disease and recovery as well as exploring in depth the patients personal life, family life and consumption history. These excesses are designed to highlight all of the patient’s personal, family and addiction underlying issue. Voiding years or therapeutically hourly sessions and reaching the conflict areas to be worked on efficiently for a prompt resolution of the different problems.
